I was longing to get today’s 30 minutes meditation done for most part of the day. Meditation grows on you. However, I have been rather busy at work today. I could not block 30 minutes of undisturbed time either during lunch or immediately after work as I had a class. I completed today’s meditation with a slight disturbance at the 10 minute mark. I had to open my eyes and talk to my partner before closing back again.
I had a good practice today. I did not have as much twitching or shaking as day 2. I could feel that I was focusing more and observing events that either happened during the day or were to happen in the immediate future. However, when you reach a point of no thoughts, as it happened for short intervals of 20-30 seconds, you can feel that a heavy weight has been lifted off your entire body. I could feel an imaginary weight coming off my head and shoulders and my view went dark as if I was in vacuum.
I came back home at 10:30 in the night after work and an evening class and so I am really proud of myself that I still was able to finish my 3rd day of the challenge before the clock struck 12. I am realizing that some power in me is rallying me and motivating me to stay on track and I am thankful that it manifested at the right time.
As a kid growing up, I have always been inspired by Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda (HP788) . Swami has enlightened generations of people to believe in themselves. I will complete this post for today with an inspirational quote of his
Awake, arise and stop not till your goal is achieved
