Half an hour’s meditation each day is essential, except when you are busy. Then a full hour is needed. — Saint Francis de Sales
St. Francis De Sales: A Biography of the Gentle Saint
Whenever I used to hear someone say statements like “like attracts like” or “if you are seeking something, the universe will conspire to help you”, I thought it was all woo-woo stuff good for fiction books. In my life, I have been seldom persistent with anything to a certain level of mastery or I am too hard on myself. So, when I chose this journey, and to this day, I have a nagging fear in the back of my mind that I will go off the rails. So, I chose to blog it out and hold myself accountable to the entire world. And, when I talk about my meditation to friends and acquaintances, I am pleasantly surprised by their positive reaction or at least non-negative reaction. I am very clear that any negative reaction wouldn’t alter my course but positive reactions and signs of help being offered makes me think that the world does help you out ever so slightly if it feels your intentions are genuine.
I had a good session today. I became restless at about the 27th minute. I am unable to recollect much from my session today.
Today’s tip : I will encourage everyone to experience the absolute relaxation you experience even after a short meditation (15-20 minutes). My head feels so light and I almost feel like I am flying.
